Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands is growing as a film region. However, finding (additional) funding remains a challenge for many filmmakers, even though it is often essential for bringing a film to life. The Stichting Bevordering Filmklimaat Noord-Brabant supports the production of films that are important to the cultural landscape of the province of Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands. To this end, the foundation draws on a broad network and the expertise of professionals experienced in fundraising. It operates on a non-profit basis. In addition, the foundation aims to contribute to the development of the regional film infrastructure by supporting festivals and other initiatives wherever possible. Filmmakers from outside the region are also very welcome. We are happy to support them and open our network to them, enabling them to create films with a connection to Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands.

Our goal
• To financially support the development and production of film projects with a connection to the province of Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands.
• To promote films from Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands.
• To support film festivals and other film-related activities.
Board
The policy of the Stichting Bevordering Filmklimaat Noord-Brabant is set out in the Policy Plan 2025, as adopted by the board. Each year, the secretary prepares an annual report on the activities of the past year. The treasurer draws up an annual balance sheet and a profit and loss statement. These reports are approved by the board within six months after the end of the financial year.
